To be eligible for a CDL, the Student must be at least 18 years old, have a valid Texas driver's license, and pass a D.O.T Physical Exam.
To get permits, you must pass 4 different written tests.
1. General Knowledge, 2 Air Brakes, 3. Combination Vehicles, 4. Texas Special Requirements.
You must pass the Road test to get your Commercial Driving License.
1-Pretrip Inspection, 2-Backing Maneuvers, 3-Road Driving
